At A2, we analyze your racking systems using state-of-the-art simulation tools.
A durability analysis is carried out on the structures based on the current design approach to identify the critical factors that determine the load-bearing capacity of a rack.
The primary purpose of a pallet racking system is to support the maximum possible load relative to its own weight—while providing easy access to individual pallets and preventing damage to stored goods. This must be achieved within the constraints of design and safety requirements.
In general, the design becomes more complex due to the semi-rigid nature of beam/upright and upright/floor connections, as well as the use of perforated vertical members in large, multi-bay swaying frames.
After analyzing your racking systems, the results are compared with both conventional and non-linear element solutions of the same scenario. The analysis algorithm is then processed through a test program performing code checks for global buckling, deformation, and internal member forces.
